Mr. Jaworski’s legal career has spanned over twenty years in private practice providing legal counsel to individual entrepreneurs, start-ups, and large high technology companies to develop effective IP/patent strategies to meet each of their individual intellectual property needs.

Throughout his career, Mr. Jaworski has been associated with both large and boutique intellectual property law firms and has been a partner with one of the oldest intellectual property law firms in New York.  In addition, Mr. Jaworski successfully launched a solo intellectual property law practice. 
Mr. Jaworski’s experience includes:

  • Preparing and prosecuting patent applications internationally in technological fields including software, electronic systems, mechanical systems, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Counseling clients regarding all aspects of the patent process and has extensive experience in preparing non-infringement opinions, patentability opinions and validity/invalidity opinions.
  • Assisting clients to analyze file wrappers and counseling clients with respect to claim construction and scope of claim coverage.  In addition, he has aided clients in design-around efforts to avoid potential patent infringement. 
  • Counseling clients in preparing patent claims that read on competing products while avoiding prior art. 
  • Conducting due diligence related to IP assets in technology acquisitions, technology transfers, and corporate mergers.
  • Filing and prosecuting reexamination patent applications and has filed and prosecuted numerous trademark applications.
  • Presenting seminars to explain the IP/patent process and it importance to business

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Jaworski worked as an electrical engineer in the defense industry designing, developing and integrating various digital and analog systems including developing adaptive antenna systems as well as digital target simulators used to verify operation of warning and electronic countermeasure systems for military aircraft.
